Happy New Year! I hope you all had an enjoyable holiday and welcome you back for 2019!
I am excited to begin my journey as Principal of Chackbay Elementary. As Mr. Lee mentioned in his farewell letter, I was previously a faculty member at CES. I taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, and Intervention between 2003-2010. I loved working at Chackbay Elementary and only left to pursue the opportunity to work as an administrator to gain the experience needed to one day be a Principal. I never dreamed that I would actually have the chance to come back as the Principal of Chackbay Elementary and am truly honored to now be given that opportunity.
Since I am beginning my principalship in the middle of the school year, I have scheduled two assemblies on Thursday, January 10th to give parents the opportunity to come to school and allow me the opportunity to introduce myself in person. I know everyone has busy schedules so I’m offering two times that day: 10 AM and 6 PM. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please choose whichever time works best for you and come say hello.
I look forward to meeting and working with all of you to continue Chackbay Elementary’s success as an outstanding school of excellence.
Chackbay Elementary School's staff, parents, and community will prepare all students for academic success.
